DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS

Having your vehicle delivered changes the terms and conditions.
To ensure you fully understand how this affects your purchase, please carefully read the points below:


 

  1. Cooling-Off Period:
    Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you may cancel a distance contract to purchase a vehicle from us within 14 working days after the day you received the vehicle (subject to the limitations below).

  2. How to Cancel:
    To cancel a contract, you must provide written notice of cancellation via post or email, and it must reach us by 5 PM on the 14th day following delivery.

  3. Vehicle Return Conditions:
    If you cancel a contract on this basis, you must promptly return the vehicle to us in the same condition in which you received it.
    We must receive the vehicle within 14 days of your written notice. Once cancellation is notified, you must not use the car, except for its return journey.
    The vehicle must remain taxed and insured until we receive it.

  4. Refunds & Return Costs:
    You will be refunded in full for the vehicle. However, you are responsible for paying the cost of returning the vehicle to us.

  5. If Vehicle Not Returned:
    If you do not return the vehicle, we may arrange collection and charge you for the costs incurred.
    If we cover return costs, these may also be deducted from your refund.

  6. Fraud Prevention Requirements:
    For fraud prevention, we only deliver to your home address.
    Prior to delivery, we require a copy of your driver’s licence and proof of address.
    If we do not receive these, delivery will not proceed.

  7. Inspection on Delivery:
    You must fully inspect the vehicle’s condition upon delivery.
    Once you sign to accept the vehicle, we will not be liable for any damage not noted at delivery.

  8. Refund Timeline:
    Your refund will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned vehicle.
    This period starts from the day we sign to accept the return of the vehicle.

  9. Missed Delivery:
    Delivery will take place at an agreed time and place.
    If you are unable to accept delivery, you will be liable for delivery and return costs.
    In the event of cancellation, this amount will be deducted from your refund.

  10. Liability After Delivery:
    You are liable for the vehicle from the moment you accept delivery.
    If you cancel within the cooling-off period, you remain liable until the vehicle is collected and signed for by our transport team.
    Any damage not noted at delivery will be charged and deducted from your refund.

  11. Condition of Return:
    The vehicle must not be modified or altered in any way from its original delivered condition.

  12. Mileage Allowance:
    To receive a full refund, the vehicle must not exceed 100 additional miles from the recorded delivery mileage.
    Excess mileage will be charged at £1.50 per mile, deducted from your final refund.

  13. Delivery & Collection Costs:
    Any initial delivery charges will not be refunded.
    You are also liable for any collection costs, which will be deducted from your refund.
    We will inform you of all costs in advance and will not proceed without your prior consent.

  14. Self-Arranged Returns:
    You may arrange your own return, but you accept full liability for the vehicle until received by us.
    Any damage will be deducted from your refund.
    In case of an insurance claim, no refund will be processed until the insurance payout is received by us.

  15. Final Inspection:
    No refund will be issued until the vehicle is inspected and signed for by our team.
    If any deductions are to be made, you will be notified in advance of the refund being processed.
